FAQs

How long does the custom process take?

Typically 6-8 weeks for suits jackets, pants, vests and outerwear. Shirts take approximately 4-5 weeks. If necessary, we do offer rush service where garments can be completed in three weeks.

What is your appointment policy?

Private appointments are reserved exclusively to provide each client a personalized and luxury custom clothing experience. We understand sometimes life happens, and kindly request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or scheduling changes. Due to the bespoke nature of our services, no-shows or repeated last-minute cancellations may incur a $300 cancellation fee, or require a booking deposit for future appointments. The deposit will be applied to your purchase. We appreciate your understanding.

What is your return policy?

Custom Garments are non-refundable, and we guarantee a correct custom fit, even in a very rare occasion we have to re-make the garment. Exchange or store credit on non-custom items if returned in original condition within 30-days of purchase.

What is your alterations policy?

Alterations are complimentary for 60 days from final delivery. This excludes damages, rips and excessive wear not due to craftsmanship.

For out of state clients who may need to source local alterations, we gladly provide H&P shoppe credit for the amount of your alterations charges.

We also offer concierge alteration services on certain garments not purchased at Harryson & Peters. We will gladly assist in marking your alterations for our master tailor to complete. We reserve the right to accept or reject garments based upon the original quality, age and wear of pieces purchased at a different store.

Where do you get your materials?

Offering only the finest of luxury fabrics, we source our cloth and materials exclusively from European mills and suppliers. Why? Because Europe produces the finest cloths in the world. These mills are steeped in history and tradition - many of which have been around longer than the United States has been a country. Additionally, we require our fabric mill partners to maintain gold-standard certifications for humane treatment of animals and ecological and sustainability policies and practices.

Where is my custom clothing produced?

Your clothing is hand crafted by our third generation master tailors located in New York. Fabric and materials are exclusively sourced from the finest mills based in Europe. Our finishing (alterations) master tailor has over 40 years of experience and is located in Dallas, Texas.

Who are your vendors?

We source materials from more that 20 luxury mills. This includes Zegna, Loro Piana, Scabal, Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil, Piaczena, Gladson, Albilini and Thomas Mason to name a few.
